Hannah Dansie’s work draws from influences of iconoclasm, mythology, and the natural environment. Using familiar imagery and symbolism her images try to illustrate the connections that go unseen between ourselves and the natural world, while creating a sense of nostalgia for the dreamlike world of fairytales and folklore. All works are created in acrylic, ink, and gouache.
